Little Charlotte – Ottawa Baby Photographer

This past weekend, I had the joy of finally meeting little Charlotte! I’ve known Charlotte’s mom for a long time, and after having moved away, and moved back and life happening in between all of that, it’d been a while since we’d seen each other! It was great to catch up, and get to know her new little one! Charlotte is just 4 months old, and the sweetest little girl! Mom had lots of outfits ready for me, and since I have a boy, all the little girl clothes are just tooooo cute!! Thanks for letting me spend some time with your cute little family, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!!

My Sweet Valentine – Ottawa Child Photographer

My lil man hasn’t been up on the blog in a while!! He’s now 2, yes TWO years old!!! He is talking up a storm, and has just the funniest personality! He always wants to make sure we’re happy, and if he’s doing something wrong or is in a time out, he’ll constantly ask, “mama happy now?” and give me his biggest cheesiest smile… tricky lil thing! heheh! Valentine’s day is quickly approaching, and I thought, what better holiday than a day made to celebrate love to take some pictures! They were taken in my bedroom, in a 15 minute span, most of which he was jumping on the bed! I said it last year, and I’ll say it again, don’t wait for a specific day to tell the ones around you that you love them! Happy Valentine’s Everyone!!!

Great Start To 2013 – Ottawa Lifestyle Photographer

What a great start to the new year! I had an amazing opportunity recently to go to Toronto to visit some friends, and shoot an amazing session with Andrew Archer! Andrew is co-owner of Church on Church, voted one of the best new bars in Toronto! He is not only incredibly good looking, but he is so sweet and so humble! We decided to go down to the distillery district of downtown Toronto for the session. I’d never been down there before, and it was a photographers dream! It was a beautiful day considering it was January, but still freezing! Andrew was an absolute trooper! He may not have been able to feel his fingers by the time we were done, but I think it was well worth it! Andrew, I hope you like your sneak peek!! Show him some love in the comment section down below!! #dothearcher

If you’d like to book a session with me, or have any questions at all, please leave me a message using the contact button at the top of the page! Also, check me out on Facebook!!

Best of 2012 – Ottawa Lifestyle Photographer

Wow! Can you believe the year is already over?? I swear time is moving faster! I think now more than ever I realize how quickly a moment can come and go, how fast my lil man is growing up, and how important it is to capture those moments to have forever. Looking back over this past year, I love seeing how my style changed, how I’ve grown not only as a mom, but as a photographer. Some things feel like they were just a week ago, when in reality they were months and months ago.

I’d like to take this time to thank each of you for being a part of my life this past year, and how I look forward to this new year coming up! I went through this year, and compiled some of my favourite images! I’d like to wish you all the happiest of new years! May 2013 be a year your dreams are realized and your heart is happy!

Inspired Maternity Session – Ottawa Maternity Photographer

When I heard that this beautiful lady was pregnant I KNEW I had to take her maternity pictures! Fortunately for both of us, a mutual friend purchased her a shoot as a gift for her baby shower! We spoke back and forth a few times, and she mentioned to me what she had in mind for her session, I was both suuuper excited, and a little nervous! She wasn’t looking for any of the traditional poses or shots. She wanted to shoot in different decades, knitting in the 30/40’s, baking in the 50’s, and relaxing in the now. So on the day of our shoot, I show up at her house with a couple props in hand and get a tour of her gorgeous house! As she’s finishing getting ready she tells me that if it hadn’t been for the gift of the shoot, she probably wouldn’t have done it, (no stress on me now, right?! haha!) but that as she’s thought about it, having some memories of this time in her life wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Our shoot begins and we decided to start with the 1940’s, mama to be sitting in a beautiful chair knitting a blanket for her soon to be son and sipping on some tea. Elegant! From there we went into the kitchen and made a MESS 1950’s style! It was sooo much fun! I know if Mama is willing to make a mess just for pictures, she’s going to be the most fun Mama around! I think I’m still getting flour out of my gear! hehe! SO worth it!! We ended the session with Daddy and Mama to be cuddling on the couch and just being them. It was such a great day!

I think it’s safe to say that she’s since changed her tune about not wanting to do maternity pictures! hehe! Check out her sneak peek! To see some additional exclusive sneaks head over to Facebook!!

Yet another beautiful shoot! With such wonderful people, ideas & of course photographer, I had no doubt it would turn out to be a success. There is a reason why you will ALWAYS be my one and only photographer for those special moments and people in my life!
