Today was the first morning in 8 that the first thing out of Lyric’s mouth wasn’t “Annie”, well, “Ahh-nie” because apparently my child has an accent! While Annie is one of my all time favourite movies (don’t judge), I’m almost relieved to be back to the regular scheduled programming of Wiggles and Elmo. I’m sure I’ll regret saying that by the end of the day, but for now toot toot chugga chugga alllll you want lil man!
His fever is finally coming down, but his patience is completely GONE! ugh! I’m sure you can relate… everything he says sounds like a whine, and everything I ask him to do seems to fall on deaf ears, if what he wants isn’t in his possession the moment he thinks he wants it, MELT. DOWN. CITY! He may only be 20 months, but I swear those terrible 2’s have started early! Maybe they’ll end early? I know, wishful thinking… Maybe we’ll attempt leaving the house today, it’s been a while and maybe I’m not the only one getting cabin fever.
A couple weeks ago, I decided to challenge myself to capture an entire day in the life of Lyric. So from the moment he woke up, I grabbed my camera and clicked away. It wasn’t a special day, we didn’t do anything extraordinary, and I did my best not to “pose” him. By the end of the day, I was exhausted, and had ZERO desire to take another pictue! haha! Never thought I’d say that! I think I’ll love looking back on this in the years to come just to remember all the simple little moments that don’t usually make it into the albums. Be warned… there are a LOT of pictures. (he’s just TOO cute!… and I cut it down from 752!)
